RADIANCE 24 SC is an insecticide-acaricide based on Chlorfenapyr, it is highly effective by contact and ingestion in insects, and has very good translaminar penetration in plants. It is a broad- spectrum product and effective in controlling pests that attack a variety of crops and have developed resistance to other insecticides.
Classified by the IRAC as a Pyrrole, Monosite, with medium resistance risk, it is presented as a tool for the management of resistance to other acaricides and insecticides in mixtures or rotations.

Radiance 24 SC

COMPOSITION % (w/v)
  • Chlorfenapyr 24 SC 24.0 %
PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Chlorfenapyr is a pro-insecticide that is converted into an active metabolite by enzymatic action in the gut of insects and mites (Rand, 2004). The main mechanism of action of Chlorfenapyr is the uncoupling in the mitochondria of oxidative phosphorylation (Hunt & Treacy, 1998). Once converted to its active metabolite, it disrupts the proton gradient across the mitochondrial membrane, affecting the ability of cells to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP) from adenosine diphosphate (ADP). This leads to cell death and consequent death of the organism (Treacy et al., 1994).

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

RADIANCE 24 SC is an insecticide and acaricide for foliar application. It is recommended to start treatment at the appearance of the pest in the crop.

Resistance management: To avoid the appearance of resistance, do not use this product or any other product containing Chlorfenapyr to make more than 2 applications per season.

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF TREATMENTS

2 campaigns per year.

Regulate the pH.

The effectivenes of treatments are provided by a complete follage wettiness and use of adjuvant.

INTERVAL BETWEEN LAST APPLICATION AND HARVEST (WAITING PERIOD)

24 h

RE-ENTRY INTERVAL TO THE TREATED AREA

Wait 24 hours. If it is necessary to enter before this period, full protective equipment must be used.

COMPATIBILITY

It is compatible with most commonly used pesticides except for strong acids, alkaline and oxidizing products.

PHYTOTOXICITY

It is not phytotoxic when used according to the recommendations and doses of SPACHEM S.L. In case of mixing, perform a small scale test to check compatibility and phytotoxicity.

REMARKS

The recommendations and information we provide are the result of extensive and rigorous studies and tests, however, numerous factors beyond our control may intervene in the use (preparation of mixtures, application, weather, etc.). The company guarantees the composition, formulation and content.
